Next up: Alt Alt DIY Performance Fest

Next up for me is an original piece I will be presenting at an exciting, underground performance festival. I’ll be showcasing some works in progress from a larger piece I am currently creating. I’m calling the excerpts A Man, A Clown, A Man.

A bit about the piece (which may raise more questions than it answers): a clown comes to terms with his masculinity – or tries to – while a poet looks deeply into himself – or tries to.

The festival takes place at AKA/Paved Arts in Saskatoon January 7th and 8th, 2017. Stay tuned for the final schedule.

Lumsden Beach Camp

Last month I had the distinct pleasure of taking a trip to Lumsden Beach Camp and leading a theatre workshop with the youth staying there.

I was invited to stay the night and do some creation in the lovely surroundings of the camp. Below are some photos of the great Saskatchewan beauty with which I was surrounded while doing my work.
