Thanks to all who came out last night to see Trick or Treat presented by Theatre Howl. You have one more night to catch the scares of two locally-written plays produced in Saskatoon homes! It’s been a blast playing Loner with such a fun team. Hope to see you tonight (and at Nino’s on Broadway after the show for a closing celebration!).
SATAward – Outstanding Emerging Artist
I won! I am very honoured to have received this award. The list of nominees was full of friends and collaborators for whom I have an enormous amount of respect.
Congratulations are due to my fellow nominees Jacqueline Block, Jenna Maren, Anthony MacMahon, Adam Naismith, Anna Seibel, and Aaron Shingoose – as well as to all the other nominees and recipients.
The ceremony was full of energy and enthusiasm for Saskatoon theatre. Here’s to keeping that momentum going, and to continuing to support emerging artists like myself as we all journey together telling stories!

Saskatoon and Area Theatre Awards
Exciting news! I was just nominated for a Saskatoon and Area Theatre Award for Outstanding Emerging Artist.
The entire ensemble of Bottome’s Dreame was nominated for Achievement in Sound Design for the soundscapes we created together.
Plus, The Caretaker (which I assistant directed) was nominated 6 times (including for Del Surjik’s direction) and The Frenzy of Queen Maeve (for which I designed the lights) received 3 nominations.
Congrats to all the nominees (many of you friends). See you all on September 30th for the gala!
Welcome!
Now that I have some free time after a wonderful, hectic summer working on The Magic Flute, The Saskatchewan Playwright Center’s Spring Festival of New Plays, Carmen, and Bottome’s Dreame, I am ready to actually make my personal website happen! I’ve had a lot of fun building and updating the Embrace Theatre webpage (which everyone should check out to keep up to date with my work there) – now it’s time for some shameless self-promotion!
